What a joy it is to share this message not just this time of year but all year long.
As we observe what is happening in the world around us in "wars and rumors of war" (and so many other things) we are told, "Do not be alarmed". (Matt 24:6 & Mark 13:7) Our hope is in the eternal not in the things of this world. As we are called to be a light as a city on a hill there is a great opportunity each of us have right where God has placed us as we share the greatest of all messages. This month while praying about different challenges we are facing, I was convicted not to dwell on the problems but to look for the opportunity God is giving us. We all have an opportunity to let God speak to us and give us his wisdom and perspective on the issues that we are facing. (Isaiah 55:8) I can't think of a miracle that Jesus did that wasn't an answer to a problem that seemed difficult if not impossible to overcome.
As a ministry, we regularly hear "We appreciate how you remind us of the bigger picture". Our call is to be faithful in serving him wherever he has placed us as part of his Church. As you may know, we love to celebrate the Church both at a congregational level and as the Church in the city. Below are a few examples of the church coming together as one.

The Gathering Network and NECLF are hosting a two-day training exploring three main ideas: Unity in The Body of Christ is a gift. Conflict in relationships is a given. Peacemaking is a choice. Through teachings, exercises, & small group discussions, we will seek to increase our love for all of God's Church, humility in conflict, and practical tools.

"Youth Madness" was a gathering of youth (6th-12th graders) from across the city of North Platte. Many of the churches participated in making this a success!
In Kearney, 7 congregations join together for a Good Friday Service.
Lincoln Youth Leaders Luncheon was a wonderful time of instruction around prayer.
Lincoln - Lancaster Chaplaincy Corps annual banquet. We heard from our mayor, police chief, sheriff, and fire captain last week how important this work is to our city.
If you would like to serve your community alongside the police, fire, and sheriffs please let us know. We would love to let you know more about how the chaplain ministry is a blessing to communities across the state.
In March dozens of prayer gatherings took place around the state. This was a gathering that took place with intercessors and coordinators from across the state reporting on their prayer meetups.
Every week pastor's gatherings are happening around Lincoln (and in cities across the state). This is one such gathering that is a weekly time of prayer. Need prayer or would you like to connect with others to pray.....let us know!
In a recent conversation with a leader we are assisting in starting a ministry the question was asked, "Do people know what you need?" In the last few months, I have realized many leaders do excellent work. I am also seeing how much of this work is hindered, to varying degrees, due to a lack of funding. How much more could be accomplished if workers in ministry had the finances to focus more on their mission? Fundraising and support raising is a reality in today's ministry landscape and we are not unique in this challenge. We would appreciate your partnership.
We need to get to a point as soon as possible where we have 100 monthly donors partnering at 100 dollars per month.
