I wonder sometimes how accurate the memories of childhood are. I remember growing up and the summer was about crops growing in the fields, family vacation, and church softball league. It seemed that there was not much else that was planned because those activities would keep people from attending anything else. I realized that this year things are now very different. I don't know if there has been a busier summer schedule than this year or if it's just my perception. From May into September, it seems like almost every organization is having a gathering or conference. NECLF did host our regular monthly meetings for leaders through the summer and began planning out the next year. However, supporting the work being done in our state means that we are attending and partnering with many of these things taking place. There are a few photos below to give you an idea of what happened in August. This summer we have also had a large number of new volunteers offer their help to the mission we have of bringing leaders together across the state. This is wonderful and if you want to help your gifts and talents are what make this ministry happen. Your partnership in prayer and finances is vital. NECLF Leaders were in Florida this month working with other leaders from across the country to develop a curriculum for an upcoming training.
Livin' Out Loud took place in Gothenburg this month.
